Student Life: Living Off-Campus
While we guarantee University-sponsored housing to our incoming first-year students and first-year transfer students, many upperclassmen choose to live in Boston's historic and vibrant neighborhoods. Choosing to live off campus can be exciting and a little intimidating. Finding an apartment doesn't have to be difficult but it does require planning.
We are pleased to announce a partnership with Off Campus Partners, which provides a portal for the MCPHS community to search and list off-campus housing opportunities.
Using their university credentials, MCPHS students, faculty, and staff can use this website to:
- Search off-campus housing listings
- Create and view roommate profiles
- Post and search for sublets
- View a wide range of resources about living off campus
The Office of Residence Life also provides a series of Off-Campus Housing workshops throughout the academic year. Workshops provide resources on “how to” apartment search, budget, and much more.
Expert Resources
Experts in the Office of Student Affairs are available to answer your questions about how to find an apartment, how to get to campus from your off-campus housing, and provide important information about tenant and landlord rights and responsibilities. Students are also provided valuable materials and information at the end of their first year.

Off-Campus Housing Workshops and Fairs
Hosted regularly in the spring semester, our Off-Campus Housing Workshops are hosted by the Office of Residence Life. At the workshops, experts share tips on how to find and secure an apartment and share insights into how to live successfully with roommates in off-campus housing.
